As of late 2026, 3GPP has finalized the first technical studies for 6G. While 5G was about speed, 6G is “AI-Native.” We are entering the era of Agentic Networking, where the network itself is a self-organizing, self-healing multi-agent AI system.

- Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC): The network doesn’t just send data; it “senses” the environment like a radar. This enables gesture-based controls for your smart home and 22-foot marquee setups without needing cameras—the 6G waves themselves “see” your movement.
- Terrestrial-Satellite Integration: By 2027, 6G will seamlessly bridge traditional cell towers with Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellations, ensuring that you can upload high-detail cinematic content from the most remote “Voices of the Savannah” locations on Earth.
